Explore the Shafer Museum behind the scenes, getting up close and personal with the pioneer history of the Methow Valley. Campers will use their hands to make, build, play and create in this 4-day camp. We'll make stuff, build things, play games!

Camp is aimed at children entering 3rd - 5th grades

Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am-3:00pm

Four sessions are available to choose from. Each week session will have some different, some of the same favorite activities, and free-choice options, so you won't be bored returning more than one week.

June 23-26

June 30 - July 3

August 4-7

August 11-14

Registration will become available on March 17, right here!

Please bring a lunch, snack, water bottle, sunscreen/insect repellent (if desired). We will be getting hands-on and probably dirty! Wear play clothes, a hat, and sturdy, closed toed shoes (no flip flops, sandals or chacos unless those toes are covered) but you can bring water shoes to change into at the river, if we wander to Homestream Park. We will be walking outside, visiting nearby parks, trails and the neighborhoods around the museum. In the event of extreme heat or poor air quality, we will be indoors as needed.
